Reunion Memorial Service and Wall of Achievement Unveiling.

The Memorial Service this year was was made special by having students represent the fallen past students. The students would say the past student's name and then place a flag in the memorial fountain. Mrs Mc Cubben addressed the gathering and trees were placed at the memorial fountain. After the Memorial service the Wall of Achievement was unveiled. Mr Hewitt, Peta and Kylee sang a touching version of Waltzing Matilda and then the recipients of the awards were read out. Two special plaques were awarded to firstly three past students who have provided a high level of service and committment to the College- Harry Jackson, Joan Heatley and Gordon Landsberg.Secondly to two past staff and students who have provided a high level of service and committment to the College-Jessie Landsberg and Norm Wallace.28 Plaques of Achievement were then announced as recipients ,or relatives of recipients ,received certificates from the College Captains. To see the recipients I encourage you to have a look when next passing the wall. The morning culminated in a delicious morning tea.
