Primary Bush Dance

To top off a busy day after the Swimming Carnival the Primary families enjoyed a Bush Dance and Disco.Dances such as the Time Warp, Nutbush and Macarena were popular with everyone also enjoying the game Knights ,Mounts and Caveliers. Ms O'Keeffee's smoke machine was a novelty.Best Dressed Girl was Ronnie Critchley and Best Dressed Boy went to Michael Ford. Thanks to Interact for running the sausage sizzle and drinks table. A great night was had by all. A huge thanks to Primary staff for organising this fun evening and decorating the undercover area.

Primary Interhouse Swimming Carnival


The Primary School had their Swimming Carnival at the BTC pool. Students from Prep to Year 7 competed in a variety of events culminating in the Oversize Shirt relay.Students had to swim in a big shirt to a team member waiting at the end of the pool, where the shirt had to be exchanged before swimming back to the other end. Records were broken by Lily Rayment , Katie Williams, Sean Bawden, Jessica Stinson, Jessee Santo and Casey Henry.Girls Age Champions were Emma Zischke 8yrs, Mikalah Alloway 9yrs, Jessee Santo 10yrs, Lilyana Rayment 11 yrs, Madi Smith 12 yrs and Katie Williams 13yrs. Boys Age Champions were Harry Mintram 8 yrs, Jack Pickering 9yrs, Jamie Lessells 10 yrs, Jim Burgess 11yrs, Daniel Simatis 12 yrs and Sean Bawden 13 yrs. Overall Boys House Champions were Dickson and Girls House Champions were Archie. Well done to all competitors. Good luck to our BTC Primary swim team who will compete in the Primary Interschool Carnival on the 12th November.
