Money Raised For Refugee Camp

Last year Interact had a free dress day to raise money to be sent to the Refugee Camp in Thailand. $400 was sent to the Camp with some of the money going to help build  class areas while the rest of the money went to the orphanage to help provide food. (Please note the computer room has  no internet ) The Australian voluntary teacher, David Hardman, sent through this report and photos when he had access to the internet.

Here are some of the photos from the orphanage exchange and also of the
new school buildings your donation helped pay for. These buildings included
a new computer classroom (here pictured as a dining room due to Christmas
celebrations), a new room for the generator which took it further away from
the classrooms (THANK YOU!!!), and also a new teacher resource centre and
general multi-purpose room.

Thank you very much for all of your help. The teachers and students asked
for me to convey their immeasurable gratitude and that they will pray for
God to bless you always.

Remember the  classrooms

These classrooms dont have a dirt/mud floor.
